The whole process was really smooth, felt like a good way to learn about the job and the company. It had 3 stages, and with each one I understood the role and the company better. Honestly, there wasn't much to change.
The interview process involved a 30-minute chat with HR, then a 45-minute meeting with a team member, followed by the hiring manager, then a case study, and finally a call with a colleague in the US. They mentioned they were aiming to expedite the hiring process. It felt like a pretty typical process but quite structured, like they had a fixed list of questions and didn't really let the conversation flow naturally. I got a standard rejection email a few days after the second round, and I was bummed not to get any specific feedback.
My potential hiring manager was supportive and promised good onboarding even though I didn't have domain experience. However, the final round was not well-executed. The interviewers asked repetitive questions, seemed disengaged, and it felt like they were just going through the motions. To make matters worse, despite their email promising feedback, I never received any. While the people were great and the initial support was good, the final interview process and how they followed up with candidates really needs to be better.
