I met with two sales reps, one an AE and the other a VP. It was good but I didn't get much time to ask questions about the role or company. Then, I was quickly moved to a case study interview with two Sales Directors. The prep materials for the case study didn't really match the actual interview. It felt like maybe they were also new to the approach. The interview was very one-sided, giving little insight into the company culture or future. Besides mentioning 'prepping for IPO', the leaders didn't share much about why it's a great place to work or build a career.
Had some phone interviews and then a virtual pitch where I had to present using a company/prospect of my choice. I felt the interviewers for this sales role would have issues in other settings, so I chose not to continue.
The interview process was formal, professional, logical, challenging, and rewarding. And now that I've started, the new hire training is comprehensive and the best I've experienced. The entire leadership pays attention to detail and to everyone in the class, at every level.
