Alpha EMC Interview Questions

HR did a basic phone screen first. Then, I had an in-person interview with the operations manager and the scheduling lead. They asked basic questions, mostly about my ability to multitask and handle many things at once.

I applied online and then got a phone call that immediately asked about my salary expectations. If they were low enough, I got a face-to-face meeting, not at a main office, but at a Starbucks. We had some light chit-chat about the job and my past experience. They offered me the job, which I accepted a week later. The offer was 32k salary, and I had to use my own car, with them covering gas and minor maintenance. The big issue was a 2-year non-compete that basically locks you out of the industry. It sounded okay at first, but when you do the math, it's not a good long-term investment, and the non-compete means I can't even use them as a reference or leverage that experience for a better job.

really really long process . call on a thursday for discussion of job, then on a tues for 'character' interview, i think i asked too many questions because i never got to the 'manager phone interview' --- this process is extremely unorthodox, -- what r they trying to hide with all the phone interview bs ? -- and meeting at a coffee shop for in person .. because they r too afraid to bring people into the office because of all the turnover ? -- and she says the hiring manager will call u with in 3-5 biz days ( she may have said something else) but guess what, -- left me hanging, no closing the loop -- Extremely Unprofessional workings at this place -- RUN, don't bother with this place !!!
