Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process had two virtual interviews, one with the hiring manager and another with the director, followed by a full day on-site. The on-site day included a 45-minute seminar. Lunch was provided and paid for, though I ate it alone in a meeting room.

Applied in July and had a screening call within a week. Zoom interview with the hiring manager the week after that. Didn't hear back for about a month then got an email asking for me to come in for multiple in-person interviews. 3 people, 30 minutes, back to back. Nothing scary, truly mostly conversational. Toured the lab, chatted for an extra half hour to the lovely woman who will be my immediate superior. Had a great time.

So first there was a phone screen, then I had a zoom call with the hiring manager, and then an on-site where I had to give a seminar and then do more interviews with different people on the team.
