It was a pretty straightforward process, with a minimal technical round. Mostly it was talk-based. There was one round with HR, followed by two rounds with the tech lead, and the final round was with the CEO and the Tech lead. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and everyone at Ally Logistics was very friendly.
The interview was pretty good and kept me interested. They really dug into SQL, Power BI, ETL, and how to deal with data problems in the real world. I talked about my previous projects, how I solve issues, and my experience using visualization tools. We also discussed putting data sources together, making dashboards better, and working with big data. I felt good about my answers to the tech questions. It was a pretty straightforward chat, and now I'm waiting to hear back, hoping it went well.
I had a phone interview first. Then, I had a zoom interview with three people from the finance department. Lastly, I did a job shadow and in-person interview where I got a tour and shadowed people in my potential department.
