The process was smooth, and the interviewer and HR were good. It was nice that the interviewer wasn't Indian, because sometimes if an Indian interviewer is corrected, they take it as an insult and try to show their ego.
The interview process was really disorganized. There were three different hiring managers throughout, and then the original one came back at the last minute. Two of them mentioned firing people before I would start. The old CRO swore at the last candidate for not wearing a suit during the final interview. The office visit happened right after a company-wide layoff, which was pretty awkward.
It was a pretty straightforward interview, focusing on SQL and testing. They also asked some stuff about JavaScript and common coding patterns, plus OOP ideas. Basically, they really cared about the fundamentals of programming.
