Candidate-reported interview process

It started with a phone screen, then there were seven zoom meetings with nine people over two days. Everyone was friendly and professional, but it was very time consuming on my part.

The interview process was disappointing due to the low effort from the interviewers. One interviewer used generic questions they clearly found online, holding a printout during the interview. Another interviewer hadn't reviewed my resume and mistook me for someone else. This lack of preparation makes me question the actual work environment.

I first met with the hiring manager to go over the role. After that, I gave a seminar about my past research. Then, I had some more one-on-one interviews and finished with a group interview with the team.
