I had a phone interview with someone from corporate. They asked about my work background, my software knowledge and skills, and my education. They also told me about the job, like the hours, location, and what's expected. Then, a week later, I had a health screening about immunizations. Another week passed, and I interviewed with the supervisor and the lead for the role. It went well, even though I know I have some experience gaps, but I'm eager to learn.
Human Resources called me for an interview within a week. I spoke with three managers, and they asked me average technical questions. The hiring managers were very friendly. They asked me about a gram stain scenario and what I would do if a physician ordered me to perform a test on a sample.
I applied online and got contacted for a phone interview pretty quickly. After the phone interview, they said I'd get a call about the in-person interview in a few days. I didn't hear anything for a week, so I called them, and they said they were still waiting to hear back from their physicians. Then, nothing for another two weeks, so I just gave up on it. I don't mind not getting the job, but it would be nice to at least get a call back with an answer, especially when they give you a timeline.
