Alliant Insurance Services Account Manager interviews, decoded.

I had a casual group interview with 3 staff managers, 1 special interests/project manager, and an operations manager. The questions asked were pretty standard. The panel was very friendly and made me feel comfortable, not intimidating at all. There were, however, some questions about child care and commuting that felt out of line, and I'm sure they wouldn't have asked male applicants those things.

I was interviewed by three people: two staff managers and a senior operations manager. The vibe was great; they all made me feel very relaxed and comfortable and were very friendly.

I applied online for the Account Manager position and was contacted via email by a Corporate Recruiter. We arranged a phone interview and confirmed a date and time. She had a pleasant manner and asked great questions which lead to me sharing additional skills and experiences that gave insight that I may also be a fit for the Analyst position. Overall the process was positive and my feedback for Alliant is the same.
