I applied for an inside sales job with AbbVie (Allergan Aesthetics) and got a call back for an initial chat. The first talk was good and they explained the role well. After that though, it was hard to get a hold of anyone. I reached out a bunch over a few weeks and never heard back. Finally, I got a short reply saying they'd hired someone else. I get that hiring can take time, but it would have been way better if they'd kept me in the loop and been more upfront.
First, there was a quick chat with the agency, then I had one video call with the hiring manager, and finally, I met the hiring manager and HR person face to face.
It started with a recruiter screen, then two panel interviews, and finished with an interview with the Director of Sales. This process is longer than at most companies.
