I interviewed at my college, but they never got back to me after the interview. I emailed them a few times to follow up, but still no response. It's so irresponsible.
First, there was a screening interview where I had to record myself answering four questions on video. Then, I had a quick 15-minute phone interview with two people. It was a good experience overall, but some questions really caught me off guard.
I made it to the second stage of the interview process, which involved an Excel test. Unfortunately, I didn't pass because I made a mistake and had to redo everything. The questions they asked were a bit strange, trying to be like Google with thought-process questions like 'How many glasses of orange juice are drunk a day?'. I didn't like these because they seemed like an attempt to be edgy. What was worse is that they said they'd respond in 3-5 days about whether I was approved or denied, but they never did. I tried calling and emailing, but they ignored me. It's poor behavior not to give a response. During the interview, they also mentioned the company was having growing pains.
