Candidate-reported interview process

Got an invite for a phone screening just two days after applying. It's a 30-minute call to go over my qualifications. If that goes well, I'll chat with the hiring manager for a more detailed discussion. The final part is a panel interview with several team members to get a well-rounded assessment.

After I applied, they got in touch about a month later and took a while to set up the phone screen. The phone screen went okay, but then it took over 2 weeks to schedule the next interview.

The interview started with an initial phone screening where they asked some basic questions and a few about Allegiant's business model. Then, there was a video interview covering my experience with financial modeling, more questions about Allegiant's business model, and an analytical problem where I had to come up with a close estimate. After that, I received a challenging Excel test that assessed Excel skills (pivot tables, index, v lookup, formulas, conditionals, etc.) and financial modeling knowledge, including calculations like variance, marginal profit, and tax rate. It was tough to complete within the hour and fifteen minutes allotted, especially without prior knowledge.
