Allbirds Executive Assistant interviews, decoded.

First, I had a phone chat with the recruiter. It was a very direct interview, with a question-answer format followed by silence. They kept it short and to the point.

I submitted my application online and was then contacted by a recruiter to set up a phone interview. The phone interview happened about two weeks after that. The recruiter was a little late for the call and seemed rushed, but I guess that's understandable since the company is growing so fast! She asked me about my past experience and why I was interested in Allbirds, then she told me more about the role and asked about my salary expectations.

The interview process was super fast and easy. I never had to wait too long to hear back about the next steps. It took about 5-6 weeks total. It included two phone screens, a half-day of interviews at their main office in San Francisco (lots of one-on-ones and a presentation, they even paid for my travel), and a final chat with one of the CEOs. I got an offer right after that. I felt really valued throughout the whole thing and enjoyed meeting everyone at Allbirds. Their passion for the brand and mission is contagious and was a big reason I accepted the offer.
