I applied online for a job and got a call for a phone interview with Allstate. The whole process spanned a few weeks. I had two rounds of interviews: one with a subordinate attorney and another with the General Counsel. They didn't really say why I wasn't chosen for the role.
The hiring process included an online test. It was an aptitude test having simple analytical and logical questions. The shortlisted candidates went through 2 rounds of interview, Technical interview and HR interview.
First we had an intro call where they talked about their company and what they're looking for in an employee. Then there was another call with more in-depth technical questions. Finally, there was an onsite or panel interview.
