Candidate-reported interview process

There were about 6 interviews which were pretty straightforward and lasted between 30 minutes and an hour. Since it's employee-owned, they are thorough. Ideally, 3 interviews would have been better.

This was a really strange interview. Right before it began, I went to the restroom, and a woman there asked if I was the candidate. When I said yes, she told me to turn around and run. I thought she was joking, but she was serious. The interview itself started, and one of the first people I spoke with spent the entire time criticizing her colleagues. She talked a lot about how they lacked talent and professionalism and suggested that the company was led by an egotistical person at the top with incompetent people below them. I wanted to leave as soon as possible.

Got contacted by a recruiting company for a role at ASD. The recruiters seemed ok but didn't really know the job details. Skipped the phone screen and went straight to in-person interviews. The first interview was with an SDET and an SDE who seemed bored. In the second interview, they asked me what I thought the job was about. I mentioned Java and DB skills, but they said they were looking for a UI developer and ended the interview early. It's frustrating because my resume clearly doesn't show UI experience, and they should have checked it before calling me in. Definitely the worst interview experience.
