I had a recruiter call first, then an interview with the hiring manager. After that, there was a coding round, a design round, and an infra round. Most people were nice, but one interviewer seemed rushed and cut my session short, like they'd already decided. Honestly, I was glad not to move forward after that interaction.
First, there was a video interview with one developer, asking some basic questions. After that, I moved on to a longer stage with two panels, each having four developers. They observed me coding and asked questions afterward. The questions became more difficult over time, and I was expected to justify my answers.
It was a pretty standard process. First, there was a recruiter call for vetting. Then, an initial call with the VP of Alkali. We talked about my past experience and the tech stack. He also briefed me on his roles and responsibilities.
