AlixPartners General Intern interviews, decoded.

The interview process included an initial phone screen with HR, followed by an aptitude assessment. Then there were three back-to-back interviews: one case interview, one focused on leadership experience, and one focused on technical experience.

I went through 4 business case interviews which were in 4 different rounds, plus I had 3 tests. One test was mathematical, one was logical, and one was behavioural. The business case interviews were focused on numbers, not on logical and market sizing questions.

First, there was a phone screening where they asked me some basic questions over the phone. It was kinda hard to tell if the interviewer was actually listening to my answers. I kinda wish they would change this round to something like a virtual face-to-face meeting.
