The whole thing took about 3 months. I met with a few Managing Directors, did an IQ test, and a couple of personality tests. The HR people were nice and gave us good info. All in all, it was a good experience.

We had 4 phone interviews, then 4 in-person interviews at the Detroit area headquarters for one day. There was also an assessment, which included an aptitude test and a personality test. The final interview was a video call. The interviews were a mix of subject matter expert interviews, general consulting skills interviews, and fit interviews. The interviewers were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were really accurate about the company culture and work life.

8+ hours of interviews with partners then 6+ hours of exams. They want to see if you are a 'go big or go home' type of person. You have to believe 100% in your capabilities or they'll see right through you. Know the market and compensation - push if they low-ball you - I went big - pushed back and secured an extra 30K base - but I knew what I was worth and I deliver.
