Started with an intro call with a team lead, then had a few interviews with team members. The interviews were mostly behavioral, not too heavy on the technical side. The whole process felt quick and the people were really nice.
It was a multi-interviewer process where they asked questions and asked for work samples. It felt shady because they'd bait and switch even before an offer. They acted surprised when I declined a lowball offer and wouldn't negotiate. The recruiter even laughed when I explained what a market-based offer was, saying they don't pay much over the minimum.
This was a 1-hour interview. The interviewer asked about my past experience. I found myself repeating the same answers about 80% of the time, but the other interviewers understood. The interviewer seemed reluctant, like they just needed someone to interview for the job.
