The interview process was all online meetings. They asked me a lot about my background, my research, and my specific knowledge of machine learning algorithms and how they are used.
It was a good interview process with 3 rounds for each graduate student. The first round was about general AI knowledge. The second round focused on the specific computation of Transformers and coding aspects. The final round was a chat with HR.
The interview was about an hour long. They asked a lot of fundamental programming questions, which I struggled with because I'd forgotten the concepts. They also asked about my past projects and research.
