Candidate-reported interview process

the whole process is online, it usually will be 3 rounds: your two leaders (either one) and the department leader and HR interview. Since I went through referral, the interview speed is very fast, you don't need to wait for very long just get ready.

The interviewer introduced the department's business and the responsibilities of this position. Then we had a casual chat. They asked about my resume. Some technical questions were asked. And then questions about my final project.

We started with some statics basics, covering the properties of the sum of two independent Gaussians and extending that to a sum of 100 random variables. Then we moved to Machine Learning, discussing Precision and Recall. After that, I had to introduce my research projects and give a 15-minute presentation.
