The interview was pretty straightforward. It involved three stages in total, starting with an initial screening and then some chats with people on the team. They were good about explaining things and what they expected, and it felt like a well-organized and respectful process.
The interview process had 5 rounds. First was a screen test, then a technical interview, followed by another technical interview. After that, there was an HR round and finally a VP round. The technical round I had involved basic and intermediate questions, including packet-level questions, essentially checking if my fundamental skills were solid.
This happened a while back. There were several stages, starting with the hiring manager and going all the way up to the CEO and CTO. I recall being asked about fundamental Linux commands, and I was given a list of potential questions right before the interview. Since I was in a different time zone, one of the interviews was very early on a Sunday.
