they are friendly and makes you feel comfortable. focus of work cultur based questions. The interview process usually includes an application review, a phone or video screening, a technical or skills assessment, followed by one or more interviews to evaluate fit, experience, and communication.
Had a quick interview that was 15 minutes long, followed by another 15 minutes explaining the lab's operations. Received a conditional offer with a grade classification, which sadly didn't pan out. The referee check was surprisingly rigorous, focusing on the new grade offered (which implied career progression) instead of just character. Didn't get any further. The interview questions weren't even related to the job description. For example, they asked about supervision and training, even though the role only needed 2 years of experience in one area and training was provided.
Had an online interview with a panel of three staff members. They asked me about my past experience, a hypothetical case scenario, and how I handle teamwork. The whole thing took about 30 minutes. It felt pretty casual and the interviewers were very friendly.
