Alexion Pharmaceuticals Associate interviews, decoded.

The interview process started with a screening interview covering my experience and some scenarios. This was followed by a panel interview that included a presentation and behavioural questions. The team was really friendly and asked some good questions.

The talent team was efficient, transparent, and respectful. I was really impressed. The whole process took about a month and had a reasonable number of rounds and people to meet with for this level of position.

The panel interview was pretty unstructured, mostly behavioral questions and some speculative ones about my CV and career path. During one of the four panel interviews, I was told I was "excellent but unsuited" for the job and the interviewer wished me the best for my future halfway through (around 15-20 minutes). I had carved out those 30 minutes from my daily work schedule, and the interviewer ended the process prematurely, which I found very unprofessional. There was no follow-up from the talent acquisition team, not even a cold email to inform me that they had chosen another candidate.
