It was a pleasant and intriguing experience. The interviewers were professional, and I answered the questions to the best of my knowledge. Everything went according to plan. The selection process is a bit different as they consider appraisals in addition to degree requirements.
I went through multiple interviews, meeting with the VP of Sales, the Regional President, and finally Thatcher Alexander, one of the owners. They seemed really keen on understanding which accounts I could bring to AOS.
I was referred by a placement agency. I talked with the direct hire manager, sales VP, engineering VP, and the region President. We had several interviews over the phone, via video conference, and in person. Some were one-on-one, and some were group settings. We talked a lot about my past jobs and what I know, and they also asked me some cultural fit questions. After four interviews, a bunch of emails, and checking my references, they made me an offer.
