The interview went well and I enjoyed the team. There was a delay in getting me an offer, and I had to keep following up with the hiring manager about the interview process and next steps.
First I had a quick chat with a recruiter. Then, I had a technical interview on Zoom with an engineer where we talked about MWD and LWD systems, how the tools work underground, and reading data as it comes in. The last part was with the department manager, and we chatted about my work history, how I handle pressure, teamwork, and if I'm okay with working shifts.
The interview process included several stages, starting with a recruiter call, followed by a phone screen, a technical screen, and finally an onsite interview. Throughout these stages, we assessed your skills in time management, adaptability, and teamwork. Specifically, we looked for your ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects at once, your capacity to adapt to changing situations and technologies, and your collaborative mindset for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
