Candidate-reported interview process

The in person interview process was clunky and felt cold and uninviting. The interviewing team felt put together last minute and the company felt very unsure of its own future.

It was a nice interview. We began with fundamental C++ concepts like the main function and its parameters. Then, we discussed OOPS concepts and static/dynamic casting. The interviewer was helpful and let me check the documentation if I was unsure about anything.

Started with a recruiter call about my experience and resume. Then the hiring manager scheduled a 45-minute interview. It was a technical round focused on Java 8 and Java 11, and Spring Boot. Even though I have React experience, the manager was looking for Angular specifically. They also asked about my visa status, which felt a bit odd.
