Aledade Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

I had an introductory interview with an engineer from Aledade who used to work at Meta. His English was hard to understand and he didn't ask questions clearly. He seemed more interested in lecturing about how Aledade makes money than interviewing me. I got an email the next day saying they weren't moving forward. What a waste of time.

I submitted my application online and heard back from the company within about a week. The whole process, starting from when the recruiter first reached out, wrapped up in about 5 weeks. My interviews took place in January and February of 2024. It kicked off with a recruiter chat, followed by a tech screen, then a take-home coding challenge, and concluded with another tech screen where I met with a panel of three interviewers.

It was a 4 round process. There was a screening round and then 3 technical rounds. They were mainly testing my knowledge of software technologies and tools. They give you enough time to answer all the questions, however, there is no pause on the timer (once started) if you have to take care of some emergency just in case.
