I interviewed with the director of brand, the group brand manager, the conferences and events brand manager, the prof Ed manager, the director again, and finally the Sr. Director of Mktg. The interviews happened over a couple of days, each lasting about 30 minutes. They asked about my experience and used behavioral questions to understand my personality and how I'd fit into the team.
I applied online for a maternity leave role in Canada. After about two weeks, HR contacted me for a phone interview, which was a basic screening. For the next 6-7 weeks, HR kept me updated on minor things and said the hiring team hadn't reviewed all applications yet. After 6-7 weeks and the holiday break, I got an automated rejection email saying I wasn't selected. It felt like they weren't in a hurry to fill the maternity leave position, as it was still open a month later. Based on my experience, I'd tell others to avoid this company.
The interview process took quite a while, spanning several months and involving interviews that were each over 5 hours long. It was disappointing that we didn't get any feedback after they decided to move forward with another candidate, even when we asked. They were looking at both internal and external people for the role.
