Candidate-reported interview process

I had a phone screen with the lab manager. Then, I had a two-hour video interview over conference call. It was broken up into two one-hour calls. There were three interviewers on each call besides me. Each interviewer had required questions focused on things they thought were important.

It was an okay, average process. The hiring manager seemed pretty knowledgeable. The manufacturing side of things is well run and efficient. It's a very sales-driven company, and sales is highly respected. A few of the senior executives do care about people.

The interview process had few stages, functional and objective steps, without unnecessary stages like most current selection processes, and a lot of clarity regarding the vacancy and opportunities in the area and company.
