The interview process was very thorough and the communication was excellent. The interviewer was friendly and seemed interested in getting to know me as a person and assessing my leadership capabilities. They inquired about challenges with employees and how I managed those situations, along with process improvements, specific projects, and team involvement.
I had a phone interview, then a site interview, and then an interview with business unit management. The interviews were typically round-robin or panel. Interviewers were from various backgrounds, including HR, General Manager, Production Manager, and various VPs. It took about a month for feedback, which is typical for this level of position.
It was pretty standard stuff, starting with several phone interviews. Because I was an out-of-town candidate, I interviewed with two HR people, then the site manager. Then I was scheduled to do an onsite with about 7 people. The onsite featured a tour and basic single or two person team interviews.
