I applied online and then spoke with a talent acquisition specialist. Right from the start, things felt pretty disorganized. The communication was off and confusing. This person was late to our meeting and didn't even apologize. Honestly, I'm surprised I got to the second round because they seemed pretty uninterested during our chat. My meeting with the sales director went fine. The weirdest part was that the director and the TA person had different ideas about the company's timeline. It was awkward having to give the Sales Director wrong info, and I can't help but think it might have hurt my chances.
I had three interview rounds, plus an assessment. First, I talked with a recruiter. Then, I met with two managers. Finally, there was an in-person interview with those same managers, a technical support representative, and a director. The assessment was enjoyable, and I liked their software; it's very intuitive if you're good at exploring and learning on the go, and reading is key.
I applied twice and didn't hear back the first time. Then I got an interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist. I tried to reach out to introduce myself and say I was looking forward to the chat, but got no response. The interviewer was late and seemed to be reading off a script, with no personality. They seemed like they'd rather be anywhere else. I followed up a few days later and got an automated email saying they weren't moving me forward. It was an uninspiring and unprofessional experience. The TA team needs to improve, because why would anyone want to work there if the interviewer doesn't even want to be there?
