Alcami Interview Questions

I interviewed remotely with a director and a senior lab scientist for the Associate Scientist role. This was the second round. The whole thing was pretty chill, and the questions weren't hard.

At Alcami, the interview was a five-stage process involving phone, virtual, and in-person interviews. A lot of questions were about behavioral situations, asking for examples using the STAR method. It was a really thorough and detailed process, but it took a lot of time, and I thought maybe it could be made more efficient.

There were multiple rounds of interviews, including several panel interviews. The process felt disorganized and like a 'trial by fire.' Although the salaries offered are higher than the industry standard, the company also seems to have a higher turnover rate. The recruiter mentioned having some difficulty working with them as a client. The facilities are nice but feel a bit empty.
