The interview was conducted online, and the interviewer was punctual and had reviewed my resume beforehand. The interviewer was friendly and professional, asking relevant questions without trying to trick me. There was only one round of interviews, which I appreciated. This felt like a time-efficient process, allowing for a fair assessment in a single session, which I believe is ideal, especially for a volunteer position.
The interview was pretty straightforward and not difficult. It went for about 30 minutes. They asked me questions about why I wanted to volunteer at that specific place and how I'd handle a customer who was upset.
You get offered the position via email and can come in person if that was the arrangement pre-covid. Once you finish the interview and complete some paperwork, the offer is yours. Make sure to provide 3 references. It might take about a month from the interview date to your start date.
