I applied for this job and was surprised by the low number of applicants. Then I understood why. It's a waste of time. Even if you do great in the interview and they seem impressed, they still reject you. Save yourself the time and effort!

So first I had a quick chat with a recruiter, then I had a zoom call where I talked with two engineering managers about my experience and what I know. The next step is an onsite technical interview.

My second interview was with two managers and it was all situational questions, I was expecting more technical questions though. The managers seemed not to be considering me for the role. Only one manager was asking questions, the other one was mostly observing and barely engaged, only asking one question when prompted by the senior manager. They didn't seem interested in my responses and appeared rigid in what they wanted to hear. They rushed through 18 questions in 40 minutes, making it feel like a mere formality rather than a serious selection process.
