AKUA Mind & Body Interview Questions

I applied for what I thought was a Construction Operations Manager role. The job description seemed standard with expected duties. After a callback and screening call, I had a video interview with the founder. It was supposed to be 10 minutes. He joined, showed off his Akua t-shirt, asked about my background, then cut me off to ask if I had any HR or HR litigation experience. He mentioned this was half the job, which was surprising because it wasn't in the description at all. It felt like a waste of time since I wouldn't have applied if I knew that upfront.

The interview process was a bit unusual because they contacted me unexpectedly without any prior contact. I had a virtual meeting with the director, but there was no information provided about what would happen next regarding communication.

Applied online. Had an HR round which went fine. Then, there was supposed to be a technical interview, but the main interviewer didn't show up. Waited for over half an hour during inconvenient hours, and then HR said they'd reschedule, but never heard back even after following up a few times. Overall, a bad experience with no actual interview happening.
