I had an interview where I met with HR once, and then twice with people from the department I was applying to. They asked standard questions about my college classes and any work history I had. It was pretty straightforward, no curveballs.
I was contacted by a recruiter who seemed really uninterested and robotic throughout the entire process. Their emails were very generic. I had two interviews, but after that, I never heard back from the recruiter, even though I spent a lot of time talking to people from different teams. I really liked the teams I met and their work, but it's disappointing that the process made me feel like I was just a number. It was also weird that the recruiter contacted me on a weekend to ask about my availability for interviews.
Had an initial HR phone screen that was supposed to be 30 minutes but only took 10. The HR person seemed really uninterested the whole time, like they were just going through the motions. They never got back to me on follow-up emails.
