The interview was conversational and candid about the current work environment. They wanted to understand my core skills and how I handle competing priorities and scope changes.
It was a well-organized process with 7 separate remote interviews. Nothing was on-site. The people seemed jaded, and nobody looked happy to work there. Some people on the panel seemed checked out. It was just a weird vibe, and I definitely don't want to work with this type of culture.
The hiring manager was great, but the first person on my panel interview was rude and condescending, and I couldn't recover my confidence after such a horrible experience. The rest of the team was okay, but I noticed that all of them were super stressed and overworked. I appreciate that I received the rejection email pretty fast.
