Got a message from a recruiter in early March about the job, then another in early May to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager for the next week. I sent a thank you and a follow-up to the recruiter since I couldn't get the hiring manager's email. The recruiter let me know the job was still open and they hadn't made a decision yet.

It was a lot of calls. Started with an email from a recruiter to set up a call. This call was a technical screen to filter people out. I passed that. Then, I had a general call with the hiring manager. After that, a new recruiter contacted me, who then passed me to a scheduler. Finally, there was a 4-hour remote in-person interview over Skype with four different people who were located in their Denver office, but I was in their actual office.

The Akamai hiring process is pretty standard for a TPM role. It started with a recruiter phone screen, then a call with the hiring manager, followed by a chat with a senior team member. The process wrapped up with a 4-hour onsite interview. From what I've seen, the questions are pretty typical.
