The interview process was straightforward. It started with a phone screen with a manager, followed by a full-day in-person interview day. I enjoyed meeting the team and they were very open about the team, company, etc. It was refreshing to have a human conversation with my potential future team and really get to know what it will be like working with them rather than sitting in a room answering cookie cutter questions. They still asked important questions about my technical and management experience but did it in a way that felt like a conversation rather than a test.
it took about 2-3 months and usually included 6-8 rounds. the interview process included phone calls, conferences, in-person meetings, a presentation, and a deep dive into project management skills at the implementation level.
It was a really good experience. There were 5 rounds in total, including technical folks and leaders. They'd clearly read my resume and were respectful. They seemed more interested in how a TPM could help SRE teams and clear roadblocks, rather than just chasing tickets. HR was good about updates, although the final offer took a bit.
