Candidate-reported interview process

there were multiple stages in the interview process. first, a phone interview, then a face-to-face meeting where i met with more than one person. this face-to-face was a test of both my skills and my personality fit for the company culture. they also asked me to send a sample prospecting email.

The interview process was fantastic, challenging, and interesting. I went through various stages. However, the HR team in Bangalore, India, seems unaware of their duties, which is damaging Akamai's reputation. The company is willing to invest heavily to recruit top talent, but the Indian HR is not aligning with this. US management should fix the HR process in India to avoid going in the wrong direction.

Applied online. Recruiter reached out to set up a screening. The whole thing was a recruiter phone screen, then an in-person interview, and then 2-3 phone interviews with the hiring manager and his boss. Took about a month to a month and a half from start to finish. Pretty standard stuff.
