Had an initial screening call with the hiring manager, then went on to have 3 back-to-back interviews with a senior PM, another PM, and the engineering director. They were nice people. The interviews focused on why I wanted to be a PM, why I was interested in Akamai, and if I knew what Akamai does.
I went through 4 interviews: first with the hiring manager, then the Product Management Director, followed by another Product Manager, and finally the Principle Architect. The whole thing took about 2 weeks and was split into 2 rounds. They gave me a case study that was tough, but mostly it was about seeing if I fit the role. They asked a lot about my past work. Akamai got back to me pretty fast with their final decision and had a good onboarding process ready.
The process had 4 interviews. One was purely behavioral with the hiring manager. The other 3 were a mix of behavioral and case-based, and I spoke with the rest of the team during those. The team was super nice the whole way through.
