The interview process was pretty laid back and not very structured. The main goal for the hiring manager was to see what I could do and if I had any experience with food handling. It felt like they were mainly trying to see if we'd be a good fit personality-wise. The hiring manager was really good about not wasting my time.
It was a pretty straightforward interview process with some typical HR questions. They asked why I wanted to work there, why they should hire me, what I knew about the company, and about any previous jobs I'd had.
I applied online and had a referral, which really sped things up. I got hired in just one day. I went into the store, met with a manager, and we talked about what I'd be doing in my department. It wasn't a typical interview, more like a chat about the job procedures.
