I interviewed for the CSM role last year. The process was pretty typical, and suitably tough. No surprises and the people seemed genuine. Mostly Zoom calls, a project, and an option to meet in person for the final round.
The interview process was pretty standard. It started with a general introduction about yourself, then moved into some basic programming language questions. After that, we covered core computer science fundamentals. The final stage was an HR interview where they asked typical questions about my strengths and weaknesses.
So it's like a standard dev interview. First, HR will reach out to chat and do a quick phone screen. If that goes well, there's a coding test. After passing that, you get to meet the team and some managers.
