I applied online for a position in a subsidiary after seeing an ad on their website. Two months later, a recruitment person from headquarters contacted me for a phone interview and then an in-person interview at headquarters. A week after that, I was contacted by the subsidiary's recruitment manager to have two interviews with her and the CFO at the subsidiary's premises. Two weeks after that, I was contacted for another Skype interview with the HR Director. Ten days after that, I was informed that the position had ultimately been given to an internal candidate. The whole process took over three months. The chances of being selected over an internal candidate are very low.
I first had a chat with HR. After waiting three days, I was called back to schedule another interview with an operations person. I finally got a positive response three days later. All in all, the whole thing took a week.
Met Air Liquide at a career fair and received my interview that day, interviewed the very next day, got the offer 2 weeks later. Very easy interview, mostly fit questions. Lasted about 30 minutes.
