Recruiter was friendly and sent me reminders about the interview schedule. The hiring manager interview was standard, but because it was a backfill role, and they really liked the previous person, they kept comparing me to them.
The interview process included two rounds. The questions asked were straightforward and easily answerable, with no technical questions. They were very similar to questions commonly found online.
First I had an interview with HR over the phone, then a second interview with the line manager. There might be a third interview with the department head. After these interviews, the offering process begins. Before they give me an offer, they need to do a reference check.
