I applied through a job board and AIG got back to me pretty fast, probably because it was near the end of the fiscal year. I had an initial phone screen with HR, then a short 15-minute phone interview with the Director and Manager about a week later. I had to follow up with them since I had other interviews going on. Finally, I had a face-to-face technical interview on-site within another week.
I had a one-on-one interview with a really nice interviewer. They asked me about my resume and my programming background. It wasn't too intense. I had to talk about my school projects and explain the tech I used for them.
Had a good initial chat with the recruiters. The technical interview was a bit chaotic, with about 5 interviewers in a one-hour virtual meeting. Three of them didn't show their faces, and the other two seemed expressionless. It felt like interviewing with robots, which made me realize I wouldn't fit in there. Didn't get any feedback afterward, which is a shame. They really need to train their interviewers on basic manners and respect to improve their process.
