The whole interview process lasted for 3 months. I had a face-to-face interview with the Financial Controller and the Head of Finance. A week later, I had a phone interview with a recruiter. They thought my salary expectations were too high. It would have been better if a phone interview happened before the face-to-face one, so salary expectations wouldn't be an issue at the final stage. The people I met were really nice. I would still consider a job at AIG in the future if the right opportunity came up.
The interview experience wasn't great. They didn't seem to know what questions to ask. I met with my manager and then the director. The questions they asked were not relevant to the role.
I had two interviews back to back on my campus. They were pretty relaxed and conversational. We mostly discussed my major and why I chose it. There were a few behavioral questions, nothing too complicated.
