Agua Fria Union High School District Teacher interviews, decoded.

There was a panel interview with 7 people. They asked specific questions about how I assess learning, what strategies I use for classroom management, and how I engage in collaboration with colleagues. I was also asked to describe a difficult situation and how I responded to it.

The interview process was really great and inviting! They were interested in knowing how I could best serve the students. I was asked medium/hard questions, and I had to prepare for out-of-the-box questions, which was awesome.

I was first contacted by the school principal for a telephone interview. Then, I had a follow-up phone interview with the residential subject matter expert, where we talked a lot about my past job and teaching experience. The whole process felt fair, and even though I didn't get the job, I still think it's a great school district to work for.
