Agoda Frontend Engineer interviews, decoded.

The interview experience was very good, with highly positive feedback after 5 rounds. Unfortunately, a headcount issue prevented an offer, which was very disappointing. They also experienced a 3-week ghosting period after the interviews.

It started with a 90-minute online assessment, no interviewer involved, with 3 questions that involved building a react component or general javascript questions. Then, there was a second interview, an hour long online with an interviewer, where they asked 1 leet code question and another question to build something.

Had 3 interview rounds. First was an online test covering DSA. Second focused on JS and web fundamentals. The third was with a manager, but since the frontend position was filled, they suggested another technical interview for a fullstack role. They said they'd call when the frontend position opens up again because the feedback was good. But I haven't heard back since, so I'm rating it negatively. Otherwise, the interview process was smooth, though lengthy with too much time between rounds.
